Day 5 was an hour ride on the low side of zone 3. It consisted of 4 x 10 minutes in zone 3 riding at a cadence of 90+ and every 3rd minutes I would drop cadence to <65. When you look at the graph below, virtually every time the power dropped into the blue (zone 2) it was during that 3rd minute at 65 RPMs. It was a much easier ride than it was when I did this a few weeks ago. Not sure why, but I was feeling pretty good.
